Cocktails are a great way to unwind and relax after a long day or to add a touch of sophistication to any event. Whether you're hosting a party or just looking for a new drink to try, there are plenty of cocktail recipes out there to choose from. In this blog post, we're going to share six cocktail recipes that are inspired by POWER, RELAX, DREAM, BOOST, FOCUS and HAPPY.


August

Inspired by POWER, this delicious and super refreshing drink is perfect for all year round (despite some of its festive-feeling ingredients).

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1 oz white creme de cacao
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • Crushed candy cane, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Crush candy canes in a plastic bag with a rolling pin or using a food processor. Pour the crushed candy canes onto a small plate.
  2. Wet the rim of a chilled martini glass with water or simple syrup and dip it into the crushed candy canes to coat the rim.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the peppermint schnapps, white creme de cacao, and heavy cream.
  4. Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty and cold, about 10 to 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass.
  6. Garnish with a small candy cane or additional crushed candy canes, if desired.

Long Story Short

This is one of our favourites, sweet but has enough kick to give you the ultimate pleasurable drinking experience. Inspired by not only our Jasmine aroma, this cocktail has been inspired by drinking in a jazz bar in the late 80s in old Hollywood glamour

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz Campari
  • 1/2 oz Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz jasmine syrup
  • Lemon twist, for garnish


Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, Campari, Cointreau, fresh lemon juice, and jasmine syrup.
  2. Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty and cold, about 10 to 15 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with a lemon twist and serve immediately.

To make the jasmine syrup, you'll need:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried jasmine flowers

Instructions for jasmine syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add the dried jasmine flowers to the mixture and bring to a simmer.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bottle or jar, discarding the solids.
  6. Store the jasmine syrup in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Lavender Haze

With hints of fresh Lavender from a sprig, this cocktail is the perfect drink to take you to a hazy DREAM. Inspired by our cult-favourite, this cocktail is guaranteed to be a cult-favourite.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz lavender syrup
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 dash lavender bitters
  • Lavender sprig, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the gin, lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and lavender bitters.
  2. Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty and cold, about 10 to 15 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  4. Garnish with a lavender sprig and serve immediately.

  • 2 tbsp dried lavender buds

Instructions for lavender syrup:

  2. Add the dried lavender buds to the mixture and bring to a simmer.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cruel Summer

Think about your favourite summer’s day, the sun is shining and you’re the happiest you’ve ever been. This is what you’re drinking. This is THAT drink (forget your Aperol Spritz, a Cruel Summer is what you want!).


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz honey syrup
  • Club soda
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, and honey syrup.
  2. Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty and cold, about 10 to 15 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
  4. Top off the glass with club soda and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds and serve immediately.

To make the honey syrup, you'll need:

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions for honey syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the honey and water.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the honey has dissolved.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  4. Store the honey syrup in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.




The Man(go)

Let that man-go with this mango inspired cocktail, an homage to FOCUS - one of our best-selling aromas of all time. Enjoy this margarita whilst puffing on FOCUS, and let the explosion of flavours take you to a place you’ve never been.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mango
  • Chilli salt, for rimming (optional)
  • Mango wedge, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and chopped fresh mango.
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. If desired, rim a rocks glass with chilli salt.
  4. Fill the glass with ice and strain the mango mixture into the glass.
  5. Garnish with a mango wedge and serve immediately.

The Classic

When you think of classic cocktail flavours, does your mind go straight to “Pornstar Martini”? Well, when we were formulating a cocktail for this aroma, we couldn’t help but make a passionfruit martini, as they’re simply the best (and are perfectly paired with HAPPY - trust us, we’ve tried this).

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz passionfruit juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • Passionfruit seeds, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, passionfruit juice, simple syrup, and fresh lime juice.
  2. Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty and cold, about 10 to 15 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  4. Garnish with a sprinkle of passionfruit seeds and serve immediately.

  • 1 cup water
